DIGITAL MEDIA PLANNER - BLEECKER STREET

The Digital Media Planner is responsible for the development and day-to-day management of the media plan, including buy recommendations, execution details, and maintaining budgets. This position will work on our Bleecker Street client.

Responsibilities

  • Idea Development: compile RFPs and work with publishers to develop ideas.
  • Plan Development: negotiate with publishers, compile plan specifics, assign budget by publisher, run reach & frequency reports, accurately finalize all client-facing documents
  • Create proposals that are best positioned to meet the media objectives and strategies of the client’s business
  • Develop analysis that leads to optimization recommendations
  • Maintain strong, professional relationships with the publisher community
  • Proactively monitor digital landscape and identify trends/partners for upcoming campaigns
  • Manage positions on lower level (Assistant Media Planner) while effectively ‘managing up’ to ensure communication and effective performance

Qualifications

  • Highly proficient in Excel; must be able to perform advanced functions
  • 2+ years of agency digital media experience (1+ years at Planner level)
  • Strong negotiator and presenter
  • Proactive and positive problem solver
  • An extremely collaborative and highly creative, out-of-the-box thinker
  • Experience using 3rd party ad serving technologies and research tools - ComScore, DART or DoubleClick, Google Ad Words, etc.
  • Ability to understand client goals and how they translate into media strategy
  • Strong sense of initiative and ability to work against deadlines
  • Process oriented, with the ability to manage all aspects of a campaign

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field
