ASSISTANT MEDIA STRATEGIST

This role will be primarily focused on supporting strategic media planning and buying on behalf of California Milk Processor Board (CMPB), most recognizable for their ‘Got Milk’ campaign. In order to connect with the diverse demographic composition of California, this role will encompass a ‘total market’ approach, inclusive of General Market and Hispanic marketing initiatives. As a result, the role presents the opportunity to learn the nuances of multi-cultural planning and buying across traditional and digital media channels. The role will also support other agency accounts, offering the chance to learn about additional business categories.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting planning groups in evaluation of media proposals
  • Assisting planning groups in development of media recommendations
  • Generating competitive research and analytical reports for clients
  • Trafficking assets to appropriate parties to implement campaigns
  • Providing QA for clients throughout the duration of individual campaigns
  • Reporting results of completed media plans
  • Managing billing and invoicing process and resolving discrepancies
  • Tracking advertising placements
  • Coordinating client deliverables across internal and agency partner teams

SEM (SEARCH) SPECIALIST

Assist in planning and executing Search Engine Marketing (SEM) campaigns for clients within the Entertainment, Automotive, Insurance, Health and Fitness industries. Develop and evolve standards to enhance how PMG leverages and executes Search across the consumer journey.

Responsibilities

  • Work with stakeholders to help strategize and execute SEM campaigns across the major Search engines (Google, Bing, Amazon, etc.)
  • Collect and analyze data to come up with valuable insights to help guide optimizations
  • Proactively make campaign optimizations on an on-going basis
  • Manage daily, monthly and quarterly budgets
  • Perform campaign audits for new business pitches
  • Oversee Associates, including training and development, but also serving as a mentor
  • Create keyword lists and conduct ongoing keyword mining for new opportunities
  • Write ad copy, POVs and SOPs following industry best practices
  • Audit landing pages used for SEM campaigns
  • Prepare and present reports regularly

DIGITAL MEDIA PLANNER - NETFLIX

The Digital Media Planner is responsible for the development and day-to-day management of the media plan, including buy recommendations, execution details, and maintaining budgets. This position will work on our NETFLIX client.

Responsibilities

  • Idea Development: compile RFPs and work with publishers to develop ideas.
  • Plan Development: negotiate with publishers, compile plan specifics, assign budget by publisher, run reach & frequency reports, accurately finalize all client-facing documents
  • Create proposals that are best positioned to meet the media objectives and strategies of the client’s business
  • Develop analysis that leads to optimization recommendations
  • Maintain strong, professional relationships with the publisher community
  • Proactively monitor digital landscape and identify trends/partners for upcoming campaigns
  • Manage positions on lower level (Assistant Media Planner) while effectively ‘managing up’ to ensure communication and effective performance

ASSISTANT MEDIA STRATEGIST - NEW YORK OFFICE

Palisades Media Group is looking for an exceptional individual to take on the role of Assistant Media Strategist in our New York office.

As an Assistant Media Strategist you will learn the media process from the ground up! You will join a dynamic team of best-in-class talent and an environment that is both challenging and fun.

We are looking for someone that is excited to learn and apply themselves in a media landscape that is continually changing. We need someone that can bring order to chaos (#uberorganized) and is great at multitasking!

Responsibilities

  • Support teams and processes for planning, buying and account management. The assistant strategist helps facilitate campaign execution and deliverables.
  • Assist strategy/account teams to ensure that project milestones, timelines, and deliverables are met
    • Schedule and participate in meetings
    • Follow up on projects
    • Take notes in meetings as necessary and send out information
  • Coordinate with vendors
    • Obtain information such as availability, specs and rates to evaluate potential media buys
    • Arm team leads with the information they need to make recommendations
  • Create and distribute insertion orders to vendors and internal teams upon plan approval
    • Use buying system (Strata)
    • Ensure appropriate approvals are obtained
    • Verify correct media is running
  • Respond to and gather all requested information from supervisor to facilitate media plan development
  • Work closely with team to coordinate and reconcile media billing across all platforms (print, TV, digital, radio, out-of-home)
    • Ensure correct media buys have been entered in the system
    • Resolve any discrepancies
  • Assist the media department with market research and insights by using various websites and media resources
  • Participate in team brainstorms
    • Take notes and coordinate with LA office to combine ideas into one document
  • Work across Google office suite
    • Update media flowcharts and change logs (Google sheets)
    • Update workflow and assist in getting larger team to update status docs (Google docs)

BROADCAST BILLING COORDINATOR

Reports to: Billing Manager

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collate all invoices across National & Local Broadcast media each month and upload EDIs to SBMS (Strata) for Matching and/or discrepancy referral to buyers concerned for quick resolution.
  • Manually enter the Station and Network invoices that are not programmed for electronic transfer.
  • Check all resolved discrepant invoices daily in SBMS to prepare for matching and clearing.
  • Make sure that draft bills are pulled in a timely manner for both progressive and reconciliation billing clients. Work in close coordination with buyers and strategists to make sure billing deadlines are met.
  • Send out notification of missing and/or discrepant invoices starting at the end of the 2nd week to inform buyers, as well as request that they obtain copies of the missing invoices.
  • Collate all “matched and cleared invoices” and file them in their respective folders in preparation for billing reconciliation.
  • Input “matched and cleared” pub invoices in the A/P module in Advantage for vendor payment.
  • Assist with month-end close procedures.
  • Assist in executing day-to-day office administrative duties in the department and other duties assigned.

SOCIAL MEDIA SUPERVISOR

This position will work directly with the Digital team and interact with all strategy and client teams in the development and implementation of client social media initiatives.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Serves as social media account lead for several clients across numerous verticals
  • Identifies new platform and Social channel opportunities (e.g. betas, targeting, best practices) and insight into client/agency path to implementation

    • Develop set-up process, including testing methodology, reporting/analysis requirements, optimization requirements for all campaigns to ensure optimal performance
    • Lead the monitoring, reporting and analysis of campaign performance and proactively communicate to agency team members and clients’ optimization recommendations
    • Assist in buy management from strategy formulation, campaign set-up, tracking, optimization, reporting and billing
    • Provide oversight of campaign set-up, pacing and optimization to ensure best practices and account goals are being properly executed
