This is an entry level position into the field of Search Engine Marketing (SEM). Assist in planning and executing Search Engine Marketing (SEM) campaigns for clients within the Insurance, Health, Wellness and Retail industries. Develop and evolve standards to enhance how PMG leverages and executes Paid Search across the customer journey. This role reports to the Supervisor of Search.


  • Work with stakeholders to help strategize and execute SEM campaigns across the major Search engines (Google, Bing, Amazon)
  • Proactively make campaign optimizations on an on-going basis
  • Manage daily, monthly and quarterly budgets
  • Create keyword lists and conduct ongoing keyword mining for new opportunities
  • Responsible for writing ad copy following industry best practices
  • Execute A/B tests, collect and analyze data to come up with valuable insights to be presented to clients
  • Audit landing pages used for SEM campaigns
  • Perform campaign audits for new business
  • Other duties as needed


  • Superior Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookup, etc.)
  • Superb written and verbal communication
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Must have the ability to multi-task and work within firm deadlines
  • The ability to function equally well independently as well as part of a team and the flexibility to adapt to an ever-changing environment
  • Up-to-date with the latest SEM trends and best practices


  • Agency experience or internship in media or account service
  • Google and Microsoft certifications


  • Bachelor's Degree preferably in Finance, Math, Statistics, Economics, Marketing or equivalent
